OARSI- The meeting where OA professionals meet

Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most commonly occuring forms of arthritis in the world today. It is a debilitating chronic illness causing pain and an immense discomfort to the affected individual. Many kind of regimens are based on this knowledge. Animal models have played a key role in achieving this goal."

Only in the US there are about 20 Million people suffering from the serious disease. The interest is growing toward the subject, more and more congresses, events and conferences are organized around the theme. OARSI is the most prosperative and widest organisation dedicated to the subject. We took part on their yearly congress in 2016, held in Amsterdam.

The topic of the year was "muscle waste", many presentations and posters discussed the subject and consequences of OA. Aginko offers muscle atrophy model in rodents.
